From the chassis department we will study and build the whole structural part of the car, from the shape of the chassis to the shape of the seat, evaluating what are the best materials to carry out all this work. We are also in charge of the structural safety of the car the driver
One of the first meetings of the chassis department.
During these days they have installed the program that will be used to design the chassis of our formula car: SolidWorks, and they have started to work with it! Also, in this photo they are discussing some ideas for the main and the front hoop.
In this session, the chassis members have started to work with the stipulated program to design the three dimension sketches. The idea is to start drawing the shape of the main hoop and also the shape of the front hoop. They have also started to think about the design of the lateral bars, that will be the union between the hoops… They have started talking about the dimensions of the car.
